November 1 - Too close to call.

Even if Bush wins, it shouldn't have been this close. What happened? Answer: October. The debates. Despite the GOP pundits' protests that the debates don't matter, I think they did matter. And it's not only the first debate that ruined it. Reagan showed that you can overcome a bad first debate. I really don't think he did that well in the other two either. He did better, yes. But Kerry never lost his edge.
