Being stood up

I hate being stood up.
A balebos makes an appointment and then just doesn't show up! It happened twice this week alone! I mean with two balebatim.

Forget kovod harav. Where's kovod?? Just a sense of respect for another human being!

I am seriously upset over this.

I speak english, or at least pretend to, and I haven't the slightest idea what your post is about. Regardless, you have my sympathy.

Being stood up means being at a place at a designated time because you have made an appointment to meet with someone else at that place at that time. And then the other person, who made a commitment to be there, does not show up.

"happened twice" means that I had two appointments this past week that didn't happen because the people in question did not show up, and did not cancel their appointments beforehand.

"balebatim" means congregants.

"Kovod Harav" roughly translates as the respect and consideration customarily given to members of the clergy.

I probably should have mentioned that I'm not Jewish, in my previous comment.
